Attracting Aubrey: Gone Wild Kindle Edition

4.1 out of 5 stars 770 ratings

I never dreamed I’d meet my celebrity crush while stealing every single pair of my best friend’s pants. Trust me, my life is not that wild. In fact, the most excitement I usually get is running my fan-favorite Insta thirst account featuring butt-tastic pics of Hollywood superhero Carter Hayes. So, imagine my shock when, in the middle of the cruise ship hallway, I realize the guy whose shirt I'm stuffing slacks inside of is Carter disguised as a tourist. How I manage not to faint dead away, I've got no clue. When word leaks that Carter might be on board, he asks me to help him maintain his cover. There’s no way I’m gonna say no to that. I just don't share that I’m the anonymous woman behind the fan account that reported sighting him onboard. No biggie. Right? However, when things between us go from friendly to hot to OMG-I-can’t-keep-my-clothes-on-around-him, all I can do is hope he never discovers my secret. You see, somewhere along the way, Carter went from an untouchable movie star to the man I’m falling for.Five friends. One singles cruise. So many sexy shenanigans. 4 1/2 STARS!

Fun, flirty and fantastic! With the third book in the Gone Wild series, Avery Flynn brings us Aubrey's story in ATTRACTING AUBREY and it's my favorite in the series so far! I loved seeing a little more mingling of the friends in this book than the prior two.

Aubrey catches a reader's eye from the very beginning when playing a prank puts her in the radar of a hunky stranger ... who on closer inspection is the super-hero actor she's been lusting after on Instagram! Aubrey is a fun character with more depth than originally expected.

Carter might be a superstar, but he's just a guy wanting to walk through life unrecognized for a change. He's amazingly down to earth and earns Aubrey's affection quickly.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone wanting a fast paced interwoven series that packs a sizzling punch, but in a light-hearted way. Lots of heat, humor and heart!

What girl doesn't dream about getting a shot at the celebrity who is the object of their lust? But what would you do when you are suddenly presented with that chance in real life - especially if your recent act-before-you-think action could jeopardize everything when he finds out?

Attracting Aubrey takes you down that exact path for a little bit of hot, sexy and steamy fun on a singles cruise. Aubrey is there to reconnect with her closest friends from college but never in a million years could she have dreamed that Carter Hayes would end up in the stateroom next door to her or that he would be a willing participant in Aubrey's pants stealing shenanigans. When he confides his reason for being on the ship, she realizes her social media post could ruin everything but she has no cell or internet service to be able to delete it.

As she gets to know the man behind the media depiction, she realizes she is already a goner for him. But every time she tries to fess up to being the person behind the social media account that gives him grief, he redirects or she chickens out. The fallout when he finds out has the potential to be epic but she can't pass up one more chance to be with him.

Despite the fact you pretty much knew what was going to happen for it did, this was a great fun filled quick read that I enjoyed because I went in with that expectation.

Aubrey and Carter make for a fun, seemingly carefree pair. This was a quick read - perfect for a beach chair. I wonder what happened with Aubrey’s friends?!

Attracting Aubrey is a fun contemporary romance by Avery Flynn. Ms. Flynn has delivered a well-written book populated with funny, lovable characters. Aubrey is reunited with her college friends on a singles cruise. Carter is a star pretending to be a dental technician in order to win a part in a new movie. When Carter finds Aubrey stealing her friends pants from her suitcase the hilarity begins. Aubrey and Carter's story is packed with drama, laugh out loud humor and sizzle. I enjoyed this book and look forward to my next book by Avery Flynn. Attracting Aubrey is book 3 of Gone Wild but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Attracting Aubrey is the third book in the Gone Wild series. It can be read as a standalone book. Story needs a little editing.

Aubrey left her own dreams behind to return to her small hometown and care for her Grandmother and her bakery. Too bad Aubrey can't bake without burning it or the baked goods being rock hard. She and some friends are leaving for a singles cruise at the opening of the book. Aubrey hoped to find some of her old fun loving, jokester, carefree self while onboard.

Carter has become one of the Hollywood elite with his role as superhero The Admiral franchise. He loves the role and all the doors it opens for him but he craves a serious acting job with depth. No director wants to give him that opportunity, sure no one can see him without thinking of his superhero character. He agrees to a singles cruise and if no one figures out who he is during that week, a director will give him a serious role audition. So he dyes his hair, buzzes it short, changes wardrobe and adopts an accent and background story.

Too bad for Carter that he has a connecting room with Aubrey and she is an anonymous super fan with a huge Instagram following. She outs him online the first day. Then she feels bad and wants to take it down, but has no internet. She removes her post at the next port but word has already spread. She feels guilty and tries to make up for it. This becomes the classic we fell for each other but we don't communicate trope. The idea was fun, the author writes well, but I started and stopped a few times getting through this story.

I'm a big Avery Flynn fan, and I really like her writing style, from solid plots to great conversation to really expressive emotions.

This is part of a multi-author series of books, and they all very greatly based on the authors' writing styles and tropes, but they are all good stand-alones and you do not need to read them all.

Aubrey meets her celebrity crush, Carter, on a cruise. She's snarky, flirtatious, and the banter between the two of them is amazing. and this book delivers of the romcom goodness that you expect from Avery Flynn.

Carter, although a celebrity, seems like just a really great guy. A real boy-scout type, he's prepared, he actually cares and listens, and his relationship with his brother humanizes him, too.

Really enjoyed reading Aubrey’s story. I have been a fab of Avery Flynn’s for awhile, I love that Salvation was intermixed with the storyline. Because of this story I have been reading the rest of the series , in order of course, and loving it.

Ok read that kept me turning the pages.
Lots of typos and incorrectly worded and sounding sentences which annoyed me more as I read more.
Characters were ok but Aubrey seemed flaky as once she was aboard the cruise apart from one other time there was hardly any mention of her friends and other than sex, their feelings, her thoughts and an off cruise excursion there wasn't much else deeper within the book.
It felt like it was far fetched at times but yet also normal.
Not quite sure if it was a good book but something kept me turning the pages to see where it would predictably end.
Will be trying authors other books and hope there are a lot less typos.

Sweet enough story but there were many grammatical errors like missing words or wrong tenses in a sentence. Unfortunately, this distracted me from the story.
